RESERVATIONS
A deposit of $500 per person is due at time of booking and a completed reservation form is required as soon after that as practicable. The balance of the tour fee is due prior to issue of airline tickets. In most cases this will be within 7 days of confirmation of flights. In the case of web bookings guaranteed by credit card, a pre authorization will be taken against the card and the deposit charged when flights are confirmed.
Late bookings
Bookings made within 60 days of departure will only be accepted if full payment is received by Niseko Ski Tours at time of reservation. Late booking fees may apply apply. ﾂ�If your booking is for land or accommodation only, final payment is due 60 days before your scheduled departure.
RESPONSIBILITY - IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND
Trans Orbit Pty Limited acts as a booking agent only for the persons, or organisations providing or offering the means of travel, accommodation, ski lifts or services detailed on this site or in any advertising material and as such cannot be held responsible for any injury, loss, accident, delay or any other irregularity outside of our control. The issuance and acceptance of any receipt, voucher, coupon, exchange order, air ticket or itinerary shall be deemed as consent by the client to the above conditions.
BAGGAGE Flights to JAPAN and ASIA
Baggage allowance included in economy class travel is 20kg. First Class and Business Class allowance is 30kg. Ski equipment may be subject to surcharge if these items cause an excess over the allowance. Maximum 2 pieces per person carry on luggage. All carry on luggage must comply to size restrictions enforced by the airlines and each piece must no weigh more than 7 kg.
PASSPORT AND VISAS
A valid passport is required for overseas travel and for some countries a consular visa is also required. You should check your passport to ensure you have at least six months validity effective from date of arrival at your destination. We will assist in obtaining necessary travel documents and advise on health regulations. However, the possession of such documents is solely the passenger's responsibility.
CANCELLATION - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Japan Airlines
Before departure $350 per person includes $220 airline refund administration charge.
After departure 100% cancel fee applies. No refund or credit is available on unused portion of tickets.
Japan Airlines Air Ticket Reissue
- Before departure: Airline fee of $100, Niseko Ski Tours fee of $130 per person applies.
- After departure = cancellation.
Qantas
- After ticketing - Cancellation assessed at time of cancellation.
- Typical fees: $330 airline fee + $130 per person Niseko Ski Tours Fee.
- Refund or credit on unused portion of tickets subject to assessment.
Qantas Air Ticket Reissue/Credits
- Airline fees assessed at time of reissue.
- Niseko Ski Tours Fee $130 per person.
Jetstar
Jetstar - you must read and accept Jetstar's Fare Rules and Conditions of Carriage. Please refer to Jetstar's website for full details. Your E ticket also contains ket fare rules and terms and conditions. Jetstar key conditions include but are not limited to:
"The airline does not guarantee it will be able to carry you and your Baggage in accordance with the date and time of the flights specified."
'JetSaver'fares are non refundable once paid for. Date and time changes are permitted at additional cost, route changes are not permitted.
Jetflex Fare rules "Booking is refundable if your original booking was made as a JetFlex fare. A refund fee*will apply. A refund will not be applicable if you have upgraded to a JetFlex fare from another fare or if it is requested after the day of your original scheduled departure.
'Starclass'Fare Rules "If your original booking was made as a StarClass fare, this Booking is refundable, a refund fee* will apply. If your original booking was made as a StarClass Promotional fare, this Booking is non-refundable. A refund will not be applicable if you have upgraded to a StarClass Full fare from a StarClass Promotional fare or another fare or if it is requested after the day of your original scheduled departure.
Airline cancellation fees and refund policies can vary and conditions will be advised at time of confirmation or as soon as possible after confirmation.
Land Arrangements
More than 60 days prior to scheduled departure date $150 per person.
45 - 60 days prior to scheduled departure $300 per person.
Less than 45 days prior to scheduled departure: 100% of fee.
AMENDMENT FEES
A charge up to $65 may apply for each and every amendment after booking instructions have been received. This charge is in addition to any cancellation fees that may apply.
PRICES
All prices shown in Trans Orbit are based on airfares, taxes and surcharges, and projected currency exchange rates at time of brochure publication and are subject to change without notice for any reason whatsoever. Prices on the web site are modified for exchange rate variation from time to time. The final package tour price will be decided on date of final payment or date of final invoice. Invoice may be subject to variation if not paid by the due date.
Prices are inclusive of discounted air fares, ticketed taxes and surcharges only and these taxes and surcharges are subject to change without notice. Other local taxes and duties may be payable at your destination. Additional costs caused by weather, failure of transportation services or other circumstances beyond our or our principals control are not included or recoverable. Discount air fares are subject to availability. Where the Tour inclusive discount air fare is not available, Niseko Ski Tours will offer an alternative air fare that will incur a surcharge.
Payment by credit or charge card
The prices shown are for payments by cash or direct credit to our account. We accept Visa, Master Card, Bankcard, AMEX and JCB. An additional 1% Credit Card Service Fee applies to Visa, Master and Bankcard transactions. An additional 3.5% applies to AMEX and JCB transactions.
EXCHANGE RATES
Costs subject to change until Niseko Ski Tour receives full payment based on the current rate of exchange in its offices. Once full payment, including any quoted surcharge has been received prices are guaranteed.
AIRLINES
All tour arrangements are performed under the exclusive responsibility of different contractors. Airlines, therefore, act only as agents for the contractors providing the various services herein and do not accept any liability in connection with such services or for any loss, injury or damage to or in respect of any person or property. Airlines will only be responsible for air carriage performed by them. Such air carriage will be subject to the provisions referred to in the conditions of contract contained in the passenger ticket. Qantas Airways Limited and Japan Airlines do not by virtue of their endorsement of this web site's products represent themselves either as contracting with any purchaser of a holiday from Niseko Ski Tours or as having any other legal relationship with any such purchase.
INSURANCE
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. A policy should be taken out at the time of booking. Niseko Ski Tours can arrange this cover on your behalf.
VALIDITY
The tours advertised are valid for the dates quoted unless superseded. |
